The shortage of pilots is an important factor restricting the development of general aviation in China. At present, China adopts the same medical examination standards and safety management regulations as airline pilots for private license pilots and general aviation pilots, resulting in high training costs. Meng Xiangkai suggests adding aircraft license types that reduce difficulty while ensuring safety, relaxing the physical examination standards for private training pilot licenses, encouraging various schools to open aviation majors, and freeing up the training of aviation technology and flight talents to meet the needs of general aviation development for air and ground personnel.

Regarding the current surge in general aviation investment in various regions, Meng Xiangkai stated that based on foreign experience, the market division of general aviation is very detailed, and different enterprises seek development space for different markets. He believes that private enterprises will carefully conduct in-depth analysis when entering the aviation industry. In the three fields of general aviation manufacturing, operations, and services, Meng Xiangkai believes that the strongest in China is manufacturing, followed by operations, and the most gap is service.
